Frequently Asked Question

Lincoln University provides Wi-Fi in all classrooms, buildings, and dorms.  Lincoln does this using two wireless networks: LUGuest and LUSecure.  Both of these network are available everywhere on campus.  LUGuest does not require a username or password.  LUSecure is faster than LUGuest, but it requires users to login with their Lincoln username and password.  LUSecure will be especially beneficial for students in the Residence Halls since the Residence Halls no longer have cable tv.  Follow the instructions below to connect to LUSecure on your phone.  Please note that connecting to LUSecure on any device will be similar to the steps shown below.

1. Go to settings on your phone.

2. Select Wi-Fi.

3. Select LUSecure

4. Enter your username and password:

5. Press Join.

6. If you get asked to 'Trust' a certificate, select 'Trust'.  

7. Verify you are connected to Wi-Fi.
